1
Monkey's Tale -
925 E. Westfield Blvd. - Indianapolis (Broad Ripple)
Report this commentAt 5:30 p.m., check out a legend of Circle City rockabilly: Art Adams. One of Art's signature tunes is "Rock Crazy Baby" -- a song released in 1959 as a Cherry Records single. Broad Ripple Music Festival performances at the Monkey's Tale will benefit the Channel 6 WRTV Toy Drive.
-
2
MugShots -
6525 N. College Ave. - Indianapolis (Broad Ripple)
Report this commentAt 7 p.m., Hip-O will perform selections from "Dripping Faucet" -- an album the jam band released in June. Broad Ripple Music Festival performances at Mugshots will benefit the Salvation Army.

3
Monon Coffee Co. -
920 E. Westfield Blvd. - Indianapolis (Broad Ripple)
Report this commentAt 8 p.m., MC Alpha and DJ Metrognome will unfurl the true hip-hop. Alpha is earning timely and topical buzz for a song based on Sen. Obama, but the former member of Trillogy is well-versed on a wealth of topics. Broad Ripple Music Festival performances at Monon Coffee will benefit Hip-Hop Congress and Democracy 2.0.

4
Luna Music -
431 Massachusetts Ave. - Indianapolis (Downtown)
Report this commentAt 9 p.m., Grampall Jookabox will blow your mind at the College Avenue location of Luna Music. Again, this event is at Luna Music at 5202 N. College Ave. -- not the Luna on Mass Ave. Anyway, Dave "Grampall Jookabox" Adamson combines the sexy and the psychotic on new album "Ropechain," which will arrive in stores Nov. 4. Broad Ripple Music Festival performances at Luna Music, 5202 N. College Ave., will benefit Big Car Gallery.

5
Connor's Pub -
6331 Ferguson St. - Indianapolis (Broad Ripple)
Report this commentAt 10 p.m., the Delicious will bring its brand of stylish pop-rock to the Broad Ripple Music Festival. While the Bloomington-based band has been likened to They Might Be Giants numerous times, a Delicious tune titled "Hokusai" is the best "Pinkerton" track that isn't found on Weezer's 1996 classic (which makes perfect sense if you're a fan of Japanese print makers). Festival performances at Connor's Pub will benefit WITT Community Radio.
-
6
Locals Only -
2449 E. 56th St. - Indianapolis (Broad Ripple)
Report this commentAt 11 p.m., Red Light Driver will move the crowd at Locals Only. Featuring ex-members of esteemed local acts Lunar Event and Pop Lolita, Red Light Driver is preparing the release of debut album "... And Now We Can Be Ourselves." Broad Ripple Music Festival performances at Locals Only will benefit Cheer Guild.
-
7
Melody Inn -
3826 N. Illinois St. - Indianapolis (North Indy)
Report this commentAfter the action dies down everywhere else, seek refuge at Punk Rock Night. Every Saturday night is Punk Rock Night at the Melody Inn, which makes it an entertaining destination regardless of who's playing. If you must know, the Broad Ripple Music Festival edition of Punk Rock Night will feature the Dockers, Sump Pumps, the Inhumanoids and One Punch Knockout. Performances will benefit Fairtax.org.
