Wood paneling, fuchsia walls and a black exposed industrial ceiling surround, and a large statue of the Buddha smiles at diners as they leave. The ordinary array of unfamiliar dish names fill the menu, but the food that actually fills the plate is anything but ordinary, like the Pho Dac Biet featuring a beef-filled variation on pho, the Vietnamese staple soup.
