Indy diners have been coming Downtown for Shapiro's Reubens since 1905. Owned and operated by the fourth generation of immigrant Shapiros, this little slice of N.Y. Jewish deli heaven bakes its own bread and quarters its own pickles daily. The sandwiches might seem pricey ($7.50 to $11), until you see your rye bread stacked 4 inches high with kosher pastrami.
