This cafeteria has dished up comfort food that nourishes the soul as well as the body since 1944. One of Indy's most iconic musicians, The Rev. Peyton of the Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band, calls it "the most 'Hoosier' place in the state. The food reminds me of all the pitch-in dinners, funerals and church suppers that I remember from growing up. It has the best macaroni and cheese and fried chicken on the planet.
