The Submarine from McAlister's is up there for me, as is the salami sandwich as Shapiro's and anything from the Sandwich Machine on Pendleton Pike.

I'm so glad ya'll included the Cuban at Northside News. It's my favorite sandwich in our fair city. As simple as can be, yet so terribly good. If that's how they eat in Cuba, then it really is a workers paradise.
