Worst run restaurant ever! We had a reservation for 730, didn't get seated til 815. Table was outside where it was COLD. When we complained, owner of restaurant, was RUDE. Basically told us too bad, so sad. You will know her if you see her - middle-aged bleached blonde with way too much saggy fake-tan cleavage on display. To add to her guests' experience, she was also wearing see-through white pants with NO UNDERWEAR. Really classy lady. We waited over an hour for our food which was mediocre at best. If you want good Italian do Mama Corolla's, Capri, or even Maggiano's, not this place. Live music was too loud for any conversation. Wait staff was good but clearly over-extended. Little children were bussing tables & seating guests. Employees were more than willing to talk about the situation. From what we heard- owners are poor managers in a lot of financial trouble with ties to shady business partners. Several said they needed the job & the tips were good, otherwise they wouldn't be there. Total joke of an experience. We didn't walk out because it was kind of fascinating to see something so bad. A lot like rubbernecking a train wreck.

I always enjoyed this place enormously. But the last time i was there we didnot like the table we were given and said we would wait on another. The host said we would be next in that section after 6 or 7 other parties were seated there we thought we better find the hostess and ask what up. A person was seating customers there and i said ma'am can you help me. She walked away and a server asked if i wanted to talk to her i said yes.She cameback and was extremely rude and told me to stop caller ma'am. She told to stand up from the table i was sitting at and that i surely had no reservation there. As she stood there the hostess came and this was our table . I asked her if she ever apologizes when she was wrong and she kicked us out. As it turns out she was the owner.But i was happy to leave.

Gentlemen this is your time to shine. Belle Vita is a wonderful place to take a date and enjoy the views.

The outside seating is exceptional and recommended.

I went to Bella Vita with my wife on Valentine's Day. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and what one would expect of a restaurant in this price range. I did feel the table we were given was a bit small. We seemed to have to shuffle things around to fit. The wait staff was courteous and provided an appropriate level of service.

The major disappointment though was the quality of the food. The bruschetta had a very distinct flavor that we did not enjoy. I had a seafood cannelloni that I quite frankly could not taste the seafood in. All was not lost though as the tiramisu was delicious.

All in all, I can not recommend this restaurant. At this price point I expect all of the dishes to be exquisite. For the money, I would rather go to Matteo's.
