Augustino's

I have never been disappointed eating at Augustino's. The tomato sauce is a sweet Sicilian sauce that is not acidic like most Italian sauces. The Sunday brunch is wonderful. It is hard to make a selection because everything is so wonderful. The restaurant has a homey, family type atmosphere and the music is low enough to carry on a conversation but loud enough to enjoy. A lot of Sinatra, Fitzgerald, Como, and Bennett songs are played, which makes the music listening enjoyable. The service is excellent and friendly, making you feel right at home. I cannot say enough good things about Augustino's!

I love this true Indianapolis Italian “mom & pop” joint. GREAT food and with an ambiance of pictures that are actually old school pics of people in the old Indianapolis Italian neighborhood. The place was started by Gus Mascari but he sold it to Aaron O’Mara who hasn’t changed any of the good of this place only adding his professional chef skills to the kitchen to improve on what was already a great thing. This place is one of my and my family’s absolute first choices, no question.
