Sandwiches also didn’t disappoint. In fact, the market’s Pork, Berry and Blue ($7.99), which features roasted pork loin, maple ham and peppered bacon with Roquefort cheese and a blackberry spread on a sourdough bollo, was a delicious combination — my new favorite sandwich.

The Vietnamese Bahn Mi sandwich ($7.29), a cold offering of roast beef, pickled carrot, daikon, shaved onion and cilantro on a baguette, was another flavorful combo, stacked high and featuring an appealing crunch.

The Grilled Salmon sandwich ($8.29), a thin, butterflied fillet topped with remoulade and garlicky spinach and served on potato bread, was a lighter option, yet just as tasty.
