Great burgers and a fun place to sit outside and enjoy the view. Besides the regular USDA beef burgers they also serve Elk burgers.
Bubs has a 22oz pre-cooked burger that if you eat they take your picture and put it up ont he wall. A fun challenge.
Good place to go with friends.

Bub's ("Big Ugly Burgers") in Carmel has a perfect location, right on the Monon and part of Carmel's Art and Design district. People don't seem much to mind waiting for a table on a nice summer evening, but go in the winter and there's no wait at all, plus special burgers on the menu. Both the regular beef and the elk burgers are very tasty, with locally made buns and fresh toppings. Bub's also has the best grilled mahi mahi sandwich you'll find for the price, served with a tasty peach-mango salsa. Round out the meal with beer, wine or a soda and you're good to go ... maybe for a walk down the Monon, so you have room for an ice cream upon your return!
