First let me start off by saying that I would not eat here again. This was a waste of $25. After eating here, I believe the review's are either from employees or friends.
After reviewing several restaurant's over 2 weekend's, we decided to try this restaurant. Living on the southeast side, the drive was 40 minutes. After much anticipation, we arrived. The menu is very limited so we decided to try the buffet.
We were immediately disappointed. The chicken was not done, the lettuce was soggy from being rinsed, the beef was cold, and the macaroni and cheese was watery. The soup tasted like ramen noodles with some carrots in it. There was absolutely no seasoning. The food was extremely bland. It tasted like cafeteria food.
The service was also poor. The server's did not create a welcoming environment and made no attempt to understand if we had ever eaten this type of food before. We love ethnic food and are strong fans of African american soul food, vietnamese, thai, moroccan, turkish, peruvian, and others. We were hoping to add Egyptian to this list.
We were so disappointed in the service (the used plates remained at our table for a long time, we did not get any water) that we left without being full. We decided to go to the Vietnamese restaurant Siagon after leaving. The aroma was pleasing but they had so many customer's that there was no room for additional one's. We went home and my husband popped some popcorn.
We will never visit this restaurant again or recommend it to anyone.
I would recommend that you try a different restaurant if you want to experience authentic Egyptian food.

It is fun tasty and exciting. They are way better than the Egyptian room and have a better selection of hookahs. As far as the food thats great too. The one and only detail that I would ask them to improve is the cleanliness of the bathrooms and such. Other than that its perfect!

The decorations, sculptures and hookahs provides a unique ambiance with an authentic feel, though the look could be a bit more organized and they should take down the candy-heart valentines decorations. I tried the buffet, which had an assortment of foods I'd never tried. The highlights for me were the potatoes, hummus, chicken dish and bread pudding dessert. From what I hear, the buffet choices change frequently so I'll be going back to try out more.
