Best of Metromix Indianapolis: FURNITURE
So we're in what the real adults like to call our "acquisition years", eh? And because there isn't an Ikea in Indy (please, God, if you're listening, put an Ikea in Indy?), we're always on the lookout for furniture that doesn't look like something Mom would pick out. Which of these five places is the best?
And the winner is…

If these are our acquisition years, we're certainly spending them in the wrong decade. With the economy the way it is, no one's going out to buy solid oak tables or leather couches. That is, unless you head to Consigning Women, where they offer pre-owned furniture and housewares. With a range from classic to one-of-a-kind pieces, you'll no doubt find something here (and at a reasonable price).
Houseworks
