Old School Hip-Hop at Summer Celebration
Hip-hop’s old school showed off some honor roll talent Saturday, July 18, at the Indiana Convention Center. Whodini and members of the Sugarhill Gang schooled an audience of 4,000 on New York’s City’s dominance of rap during the early 1980s — an era when few rhymes were based on violence and misogyny.
