Eleven summers later, Lilith has re-emerged as a triumph of distinctive sounds and perspectives. The first run of the female-focused festival -- on the road from 1997 through 1999 -- was generally a tight-knit composite of folk-tinged singer-songwriters. The edition that visited Verizon Wireless Music Center Tuesday progressed across eight hours as a vibrant palette of artistic personalities.
