Keith Urban at the fair
Ace musicianship allows Urban to thrive in conditions that are metropolitan or rural or both at the same time. His guitar skills are too established to sneak up on anyone, yet an understated solo within “Stupid Boy” erupted to a startling peak. String instruments dominate his souped-up band, as three sidemen – not counting the drum and bass rhythm section – handle trick starts and reprises while shuffling electric guitars, acoustic guitars, banjos and mandolins among themselves.
