Indy Jazz Fest wraps on high note

Of the many events staged Saturday in Indianapolis, Indy Jazz Fest likely was the only place to overhear, “Duke Ellington, to me, is the Mozart of America.” Music fans with an intense affection for jazz and casual observers gathered for the festival’s finale, a 10-hour concert headlined by saxophone player Najee and vocalist Al Jarreau (pictured).
