Elton & Billy at Conseco Fieldhouse
The Elton John-Billy Joel tour that made a Tuesday stop at Conseco Fieldhouse is big, pricey and carries an implication that it’s the best. The "Face 2 Face" show is suggestive of a grand machine making a legendary voyage, but comparisons to the Titanic or Hindenburg obviously don’t apply. A better fit would be the spaceship in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," thanks to the concert’s curved stage, ascending lights and emphasis on melodies.
