9. Thunders, “The Sympathetic Oscillations EP”
The melodic stomp of “Gonna Heal Everyone” highlights this electrified hootenanny of a mini-album.
There’s too much filler for a six-song collection, but “Heal” presents itself as the uplifting cousin of the Velvet Underground’s “I’m Waiting for the Man.”
Thunders vocalist-guitarist Ryan Reidy accentuates the positive on “Letter to the Priest,” where he sings, “(Life) is a stroll into the light.”
