5. Loretta, “Message Received, Not Understood”
Loretta called it quits upon the release of this album.
With teamwork as the band’s defining trait, “Message” features the intertwined guitars of Stan Muller and Damon Weidner, as well as the meshed, skyscraping vocal harmonies of brothers Jason, Damon and Jeremy Weidner.
While the album serves as a rant against the music industry, there’s exhilaration in the execution.
