Queensryche w/ Lita Ford
Last week’s Top 10 list featured a local act performing songs by the band Queensryche. This week, the real thing arrives in town for a show at the Vogue. The progressive metal band made its biggest mark in the late 1980s and ’90s. This tour features Queensryche performing suites of songs from albums “Rage for Order,” “Empire,” and the recently released “American Soldier.” Hard rocker Lita Ford opens.
Details: 8 p.m., Oct. 29, $28, The Vogue, 6259 N. College Ave., (317) 259-7029.

After I typed that, I realized that I've been making fun of Queensryche for almost 20 years. It's been a long and fruitful relationship.

Gosh golly. For anyone who misses stone-wash jeans and men with ponytails, this is the show for you.
