A Halloween visit from 1980s band L.A. Guns highlights the October schedule at the revived Music Mill, which will open for business Oct. 15.
Jazz and R&B acts Reggie Foster Jr. and Ryan McDaniel will perform opening night. A rock-meets-rap bill featuring Kramus and the Mudkids is scheduled Oct. 16.
The Music Mill, 3720 E. 82nd St., closed in February and June. The new owner is Ravi Chopra, who opened Downtown’s 6 Lounge in 2005.
The restaurant within the Music Mill is now known as the Green Room.
L.A. Guns, booked for an Oct. 31 show at the Music Mill, reached No. 33 on Billboard magazine’s Hot 100 chart with 1989 single “The Ballad of Jayne.” Vocalist Phil Lewis and drummer Steve Riley are part of the band’s current lineup.
