Big stars set for Verizon concerts

Country music acts Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley, Tim McGraw, Brooks & Dunn and Toby Keith will perform this summer at Verizon Wireless Music Center.

Montgomery Gentry is part of a multi-act tour billed as "Country Throwdown," which will visit the Noblesville amphitheater May 23. Jamey Johnson, Little Big Town, Jack Ingram and 15 other acts also will appear.

Paisley will perform June 5, McGraw on June 17, Brooks & Dunn on July 16 and Keith on Aug. 28.

Beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, concert promoter Live Nation will sell "megatickets" that package all five events.

The top-tier "gold" package, sold for $499, reserves a lower-pavilion seat for the concerts, plus premium parking with every two gold packages that are purchased.

The "silver" package, $349, reserves an upper-pavilion seat for the concerts.

The "lawn" package, $125, includes lawn seating for the concerts.

In other concert news, rock band Mastodon will perform April 30 at The Vogue, 6259 N. College Ave. Tickets, $26, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. Tickets will be available at the venue, by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
