Remember that movie that came out a couple years ago called Real Steel? It involved Hugh Jackman and the futuristic sport of robot boxing.

Well, welcome to the future: Tonight, Syfy premieres a reality competition series called Robot Combat League, in which 8-foot-tall robots enter an arena and battle. The 'bots are piloted by humans, or, as the show calls them, "robo-jockeys."

WWE star Chris Jericho hosts the program, and contestants include George Lucas' daughter. (Who knew she was a professional MMA fighter?) At the end of the tournament, the winner receives a $100,000 prize.

Catch a preview below. If you're intrigued by the premise, you may want to go ahead and watch the first episode on Hulu:

Robot Combat League premieres tonight at 10 ET on Syfy.
