Claim to fame: Brittney Cordray, 25, Indianapolis. Recent graduate of Joe Blasco Makeup Center in West Hollywood; helped create “atmosphere” zombies who walked the red carpet during the Hollywood premiere of “Zombieland.”

In 15 words or fewer, I want the world to know…
Life can take you wherever it wants to —so let it.

How did you end up doing zombie makeup for the “Zombieland” premiere?
Someone called the (Joe Blasco) school because they needed makeup artists to create zombies for the red carpet, and I just happened to be in the class at the time they asked us. Talk about right place at right time!

What was your favorite moment from that experience?
After we were done with our zombie makeovers, we stood next to the red carpet and looked at the lights and all the people that we had made up. It was awesome! I didn’t get to see any celebs from the movie because we had to go soon after we were done, but I’ll never forget it.

What did you think of the movie?
I really liked it. The makeup was great, and it was awesome watching a movie I had some connection with.

If you could do the makeup for any celebrity, who would you pick and why?

Definitely Johnny Depp. He’s such an amazing actor, and, in all the movies he works on, he has fantastic makeup.

If you were going to jail tomorrow for life, what’s the last meal you’d eat in this town?
Probably McAllisters Deli for a Spud Max and an unsweet tea.

What’s your favorite place to go in Indy when you’re thirsty?
Sometimes I’ll go with my friends to Britton Tavern in Fishers and maybe once a year I’ll go to the Vogue for some dancing and fun.

If you were mayor of Indianapolis, what one thing would you change about this city?
I would bring more films to Indy. I would like to see more movies being made here in Indy and not just independent films.

Indianapolis: Love it or leave it?
Leave it. Indy’s not bad but I absolutely LOVED living in Los Angeles. Plus I want to do film, and right now that’s a really great place to start.

Want to do your own zombie makeup? Brittney tells you how:
Ingredients: White makeup, black makeup, artificial blood, coffee grounds
Steps: Put the white as a base all over your face. Next, put black around your eyes and on your lips; also apply some under your cheekbones to make you look thin and dead. Mix the artificial blood with some coffee grounds and put it wherever you want on your face and clothes.
