When we picked our inaugural class of Metromix Top Tweeps last year, Twitter was still kind of new. Not new like New Twitter — but new to, you know, Indy. This year, that blue bird has spread its wings and more people are joining the twonversation.
That could only mean one thing: Now that New Twitter is old, and Old Twitter is really old, the competition for our Top Tweeps was brutal.
So this time, we took the decision to you.
Two weeks of public nominations brought in 50 nominees. We sent those names to more than 100 social-media people to vote for their top picks.
