Fall is the season to catch rap superstar Snoop Dogg at the 900-capacity Vogue and the not-so-boyish Backstreet Boys at the Hard Rock Café.
Snoop Dog, whose past visits to Indy include a 1999 date at the Indiana State Fairgrounds on a bill featuring Eminem, Too Short, the Roots and Busta Rhymeswill perform Nov. 3 at the Vogue. His 10th studio album, “Malice N Wonderland,” will arrive in stores Dec. 8. Tickets, $55, are available by visiting www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (800) 745-3000.
The Backstreet Boys — Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, AJ McLean, and Howie Dorough — will meet and greet fans Oct. 12 at the Hard Rock, 49 S. Meridian St. In 2000, the vocal group played two sold-out shows at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Presented by radio station WRWM-FM (93.9), the Hard Rock event is restricted to contest winners at the station’s Web site: www.i94hits.com.
Station program director Jeff Andrews says the Backsteet Boys are expected to make it to Indianapolis, despite Littrell’s recent battle with H1N1 flu.
