Invoke Yoga and Pilates brings DJ Stefan

Invoke Yoga & Pilates Studio brought DJ Stefan in for its summer open house -- to set the beat for a Vinyasa flow yoga class June 25. He parked his equipment in one corner of the room and played trance-like hits for about 30 people. To connect the music and body movements, DJ Stefan kicked off the 90-minute class with a Kanye West tune set to the natural human heartbeat.

Setting a yoga class to a DJ beat is common on the coasts, but Invoke is the only studio in Indianapolis known to host it.
