Smoke on the Square
Johnson County Courthouse square - 5 E. Jefferson St. - FranklinState competition, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society brings professional BBQ teams from all over Indiana and other states for a chance to be named Grand Champion. Amateur categories available for interested residents. The People's Choice competition will be at 1 p.m. Saturday with participants sampling and voting on their favorite pulled pork ($5). The weekend also includes live music, a classic car cruise-in, kids activities and more.
