Memorial Day Murph
CrossFit Unbreakable - 2198 Reeves Road. Building 2A - PlainfieldWorkout event features a one-mile run, 100 pull ups, 200 push ups, 300 squats and another one-mile run. Check in and warm up, 10 a.m.; instructions at 10:30 a.m.; heats run every 30 minutes starting at 11 a.m. National event is in recognition of Lt. Michael Murphy, a Navy SEAL who died in the line of duty. Proceeds raise money for several organizations that aid servicemen and women and their families.

Relay for Life of Fishers
Roy G. Holland Memorial Park - 11650 Holland Drive (1 Park Drive) - FishersAmerican Cancer Society event gives individuals in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease. Teams camp out and take turns walking. Because cancer never sleeps, the relay lasts 24 hours ending at 9 a.m. June 2.

Avon Town Hall Park - 6570 E. U.S. 36 - AvonEnjoy this Memorial Day celebration of patriotism and veterans by participating in a fun walk and run. Sponsored by Hendricks County Senior Services, the event is a fundraiser for the agency and loads of fun for participants. Registration, 7 to 8 a.m.; color guard and taps, 8:15 a.m.; race starts at 9 a.m.

Color in Motion 5K
Indiana State Fairgrounds, Dow AgroSciences Celebration Park at Indiana State Fairgrounds - 1202 E. 38th St. - Indianapolis (North Indy)Participants are encouraged to show up wearing white and as they jog, waddle or leisurely stroll the course they'll be bombarded with bright colors - transforming them into a moving rainbow. Colors are safe and will wash off. Proceeds benefit the United Way.

Five Seasons Sports Club - 1300 E. 96th St. - Indianapolis (North Indy)Networking opportunity for young professionals (or young at heart) to mingle and learn about the U.S. Tennis Association/Midwest Section Flex League and opportunities. All skills levels welcome. Participants will be paired up according to level and play in a round robin format. Prizes will be awarded with a drink/appetizer social after tennis. Monrovia Time Trial Series
Monrovia High School - 135 S. Chestnut St. - MonroviaLong-running bicycle time trial series, with 20K and 40K courses, is presented by J's Bikes/IHOP cycling club. Scavenge the Ave
Athenaeum - 401 E. Michigan St. - Indianapolis (Downtown)Groups of one to five hunters pick up a map, the rules of the game and the first clue and then comb the district for more pieces to the puzzle. Winning teams get discounts at Mass Ave businesses and entry into a prize drawing. The annual scavenger hunt is co-sponsored by Indy Reads and the Mass Ave Merchant's Association. Register online.

Fall Creek Cleanup
Fort Harrison State Park - 5753 Glenn Road - IndianapolisJoin friends, park staff and other volunteers to help remove litter and debris from Fall Creek Waterway. Be prepared to get wet and muddy. Bring rubber boots, gloves, scissors, water and bug spray. Those with canoes are more than welcome to bring them (PDFs are required). Children younger than 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Hamilton East Public Library, Fishers Branch - 5 Municipal Drive - FishersPokemon Spring Battle Road tournaments are designed to provide players with small, entry-level events on a local scale, which are a great way for participants to get their feet wet in the world of Premier Events. Players in each of the three PlayPokemon!-recognized age divisions can work toward earning Championship Points, potentially earning an invitation to the World Championships. Details online.

Hamilton East Public Library, Fishers Branch - 5 Municipal Drive - FishersIt's time to get together with other fans of Pokemon Trading Card Game and Pokemon video games. Using your own cards and games, you can play, trade, and even earn prizes. Even if you don't know all the rules of the game, you can learn game basics and, in no time, perfect your strategy. Pokemon fans of all ages are welcome to come play, learn and have fun in a safe, friendly, family environment. Registration is not required but is requested.
