The Opposite of Lost Opening Recveption
Indianapolis Museum of Contemporary Art at Murphy Art Center - 1043 Virginia Ave., Suite 5 - Indianapolis (South Indy)Indianapolis-based artist and musician Nathaniel Russell's show is an exhibit of "fake fliers" he's made and shared in recent years. Most are about imaginary lost or found things. Some are offbeat and funny, others touching or mysterious. Some of these fliers have been posted online to later appear, anonymously, in cities around the world. Russell and this work were recently featured in the national publication, "Juxtapoz." A book of his fake fliers, published by San Francisco-based Needles & Pens, will be available for purchase.
