Heavy metal legend Guns N' Roses heads to Las Vegas with Appetite for Democracy, its first residency.
The series of 12 shows starts Oct. 31 and wraps up Nov. 24 at The Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The concerts, on the heels of the 25th anniversary of Appetite for Destruction, will cull hits from that 1987 debut through 2008's Chinese Democracy. Founded in 1985, the storied band consists of singer Axl Rose (the sole original member), bassist Tommy Stinson, drummer Frank Ferrer, keyboardists Dizzy Reed and Chris Pitman and guitarists DJ Ashba, Richard Fortus and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal. Appetite, which spent three years on the Billboard album chart, has sold more than 18 million copies.
The Joint dates are Oct. 31, Nov. 2-3, Nov. 7, Nov. 9-10, Nov. 14, Nov. 17-18, Nov. 21, Nov. 23-24.
