Full-length modern version of holiday classic is presented by 108 local dance students and the dancers of G2, the pre-professional company of Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre and follows the same general storyline as the original, but with a uniquely different twist -- in which Klara is portrayed as a homeless orphan girl who discovers the true meaning of the season through the gift and giving spirit of a homeless man.

Ann Katz Festival of Books and Arts: Herron Makes Books

Books as art is the theme of this exhibit by students from the Book Arts program at Herron School of Art and Design. Instructor, artist and bookmaker Karen Baldner guided students through an intensive hands-on immersion into the book arts, leading to fanciful creations that are at once literary, visual and historical.
