This Bloomington staple found a new home in Indianapolis in late 2009, but with its impressive array of shots (picky? They still have something for you), it quickly became a Downtown favorite.

Yes, this club has changed its name again. It was Eden, then J.Y.'s, then All Star's, then Seven, then BuckWildz, and now Tru. With a plan to bring this back to a classic dance club -- like Eden -- Tru's owners hope Tru lasts longer than its contemporaries.

A place to release your inner fun. It's an arcade for big kids (and serves a delicious cotton candy martini, too!)

Urban cowboys stampede one of Indy's newer nightspots where they can watch one of 30 plasma TVs, two 10-foot projection screens, or saddle up and take a spin on one the baddest mechanical bulls in town. There is also a full menu featuring burgers and steak sure to satisfy any cowboy.

This small -- but inviting -- bar within the Fountain Square Theatre Building offers old-school cocktails like a side car or a sazerac. Imbibe has a modern and upscale interior, but not so fancy that you'll need to go home up and put on a jacket.

Congratulations to all the winners and the nominees. These choices were hard ones to make, and all of the great places in this city didn't make it any easier on the voters!
