I loved this place soo much that I ate a late lunch there two days in a row. The atmosphere is clean and very quaint. This is the best "Bar food" I have had. The menue is extensive .. something for everyone! Good friendly and personal service.

"My wife and I spent a lovely weekend in Lawrence. We ate in four different establishments. The first attempt was Peppers. We made it about two steps inside the door but were driven back by a thick cloud of cigarette smoke. I Cannot see how anyone can enjoy--or even taste the food. I know that many are against government action to limit smoking and protect public health. Well, here is my two cents. We spent $30 to $40 at each of our meals. None of that went to an establishment with smoking dining. I believe that you missed our money more than we missed your food."

The best thing about this place is the diverse crowd it brings. Karaoke on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays is also an enjoyable bonus. The local talent is very entertaining! I would rank it 5 stars if Bill was still there. However, the new bartenders do not keep the glasses full like he did.
