Naptown hip-hop stays elevated from its roots, yet never forgets from whence it came. On June 22, return to the basement — literally and figuratively — with a free show at The Casba. The Feeblez (a.k.a. “Endangered”), WhoIsLoiuis and Twin Monster will be edifying your minds and dancing shoes.
The Feeblez have popped up here and there over the past few years, but with Dirty Napz moving back to Indy, it appears they are back on the scene. WhoIsLouis is an amazing producer and an MC who draws a real emotional connection with the listener. Twin Monster features the awesome talents and charisma of The Lorax (Best MC name in Naptown!) and Yeti-One, whose solo release was featured here last week.
Dirty Napz will also handle DJ duties alongside DJ Chase. Get there early; Napz and Chase have very deep crates and you’re gonna hear some music you won’t get a chance to hear elsewhere. Don’t be shocked if you see actual vinyl records, kids . . . that’s what we used before we had these computers!
